Sabrine Dao

Sabrine Dao is a multilingual political scientist and human rights lawyer. She has experience working in, and with, multilateral organisations, think tanks, consultancies and NGOs. Her background is primarily in international human rights law, international security, global diplomacy, peacebuilding and peacekeeping. During past professional experiences, Sabrine has carried out fieldwork in West Africa, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia. Sabrine is a Feminist Foreign Policy & Development Fellow with the Heinrich Böll Foundation. Committed to strengthening and connecting women in the field of security, peace, and defense, Sabrine has been a part of the Women In International Security (WIIS) leadership network since 2019 and created WIIS Campus, its academia-focused branch.
